Dollie Ruth Bissinger Funeral services for Dollie Ruth Bissinger, 71, of Dickson, were held on Sunday, Nov. 2006 at 3 p.m. at Dickson Funeral Home with Bro. Charles DeBerry. Interment was held at New Hope Baptist Cemetery. Mrs. Bissinger died on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006 at Baptist Hospital. She was born on Dec. 28, 1934 in Hickman County. She was a homemaker.Survivors include son, Daniel Foy and wife Donna Bissinger of Antioch; daughters, Beverly Ruth and husband Ray Elkins of Franklin, Barbara Ann and husband Johnny Tune of Old Hickory, Sandra K. Smith of Dickson and Jackie and husband Tony Rockey of Dickson; brothers, Charles Barnes of Nunnely, Dale Barnes of Dickson and James Barnes of Centerville; sister, Betty Waynick of Vanleer; ten grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Nora Kirksey Barnes and husband D.D. Bissinger, Jr.
Kathryn Burris Cole Graveside services for Kathryn Burris Cole, 92, of White Bluff, will be Saturday, Nov. 11, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at Memorial Gardens in Ft. Myers, Fla. with Harvey-Engelhardt-Metz Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for Ft. Myers. Spann Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements. Mrs. Cole died on Friday, Nov. 3, 2006 at Horizon Medical Center. Survivors include daughters, Kathleen Gayle Julien of Michigan and Barbara Maynard of White Bluff; step-daughter, Gloria Newport of Kentucky; step-son, Bob Cole of Ohio; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Interment was held at Greene Cemetery. Mrs. Conatser died on Friday, Nov. 3, 2006 at Horizon Medical Center. She was born on Oct. 19, 1963 in Dickson County. She was a homemaker. Survivors include father, Donald W. Petty of Dickson; husband, James Benny Conatser of Cumberland Furnace; brother, Jeff “Tiny” Petty of Dickson; sisters, Donna Petty and Tammy Petty, both of Dickson, and Sandi Petty of Nunnelly; two nieces and six nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Mayberry Petty.
Mildred Jean Neblett Cooley Funeral services for Mildred Jean Neblett Cooley, 67, of Nashville, were held on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2006 at the White Bluff Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Couch officiating, Mrs. Cooley died on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006 at Centennial Hospital in Nashville. She was born on May 15, 1939 in Dickson County. She was a homemaker. Survivors include husband, Earl W. Cooley of Nashville; sons, David Cooley of Dickson and Paul Cooley of Brentwood; daughters, Patricia Alexander, Teresa Cooley and Jewel Cooley, all of Nashville; sisters, Annabell Vetter of White Bluff and Gladys Hickerson of Nashville; six grandchildren.
Hattie Ann Hood Edwards Funeral services for Hattie Ann Hood Edwards, 75, of Dickson, were held on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006 at Dickson Funeral Home with Bro. Warren Medley officiating. Interment was held at Union Cemetery. Mrs. Edwards died on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2006 at Horizon Medical Center. She was born on April 18, 1931 in Dickson County. She was a homemaker. Survivors include son, Ricky Lee Edwards of Dickson; daughter, Peggy Sue Tidwell of Erin; nieces, Janice Holland Proctor and Keitha Story Stephenson; nephews, Chris Holland and Kelvin C. Story; sister-in-law, Jean Edwards Story of Charlotte; grandchildren, Jodi Lynn Tidwell and Pam Daughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Elijah and Ollie Ann Clifton Hood; husband, James D. Edwards; and sisters, Christine Heath and Agnes Perry Edward Holland.
Charles Gilford “Gil” Myatt Funeral services for Charles Gildford “Gil” Myatt, 59, of Dickson, were held on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Roy West officiating. Interment was held at Union Cemetery in Dickson. Mr. Myatt died suddenly on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2006 from injuries sustained in a tractor accident. He was a native of Dickson County. He was an accountant for the State of Tennessee in the Department of Labor and Workforce Development, where he had been employed for the past thirty-one years. He also served as president of the Board of Directors of the Employment Security Credit Union and was a member of the International Association of Work Force Professionals. He was a member of the Dickson First Baptist Church. Survivors include wife, Donna Rider Myatt of Dickson; daughters, Brandi and husband Blake Collins of Houston, Texas and Ashley Myatt of Dickson; brother, Bill Myatt of Dickson; a special aunt, Christine Register Gentry of Dickson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Loretta Register Myatt. For those desiring, memorials may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society or to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.

Paul Darety and Darryl Stockman officiating. Interment was held at Averitte Cemetery. Mrs. Pritchard died on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2006 at National Health Care Center. She was born on April 7, 1928 in Dickson County. She was a mother, a caregiver, and a member of Pomona Church of Christ. Survivors include son, Randall and wife Tammy Hassell of Vanleer; step-daughter, Judy Holder of Brighton, Mich,; sister, Sally Baker Stringer of Dickson; grandchildren, Josh, Chas, Matt and Sam Hassell; two step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Baker and Susie Hill Baker.

He was a member of Sylvia Baptist Church. He was in shipping and receiving with Interstate Packaging and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.Survivors include wife, Lynette Ellis Pulley of Dickson; son, Kevin Pulley of Dickson; daughter, Karen and husband Teddy Douglas of Springfield; brothers, David and wife Jo Ann Pulley of Dickson, James and wife Mary Alice Pulley of Charlotte; mother-in-law, Marie Ellis of Dickson; and several nieces and nephews.
Wilson Lee “Puckett” Sensing Funeral services for Wilson Lee “Puckett” Sensing, 38, of Copperas Cove, Texas, were held on Friday, Nov.3, 2006 at 3 pm. from the Marion United Methodist Church in Marion with Rev. John Black officiating. Interment was held at Marion Church Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Taylor Funeral Home. Mr. Sensing died on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006 in Copperas Cove, Texas. He was born on May 22, 1968. He was in the construction business and a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.Survivors include wife, Cheryl Peckham Sensing of Copperas Cove, Texas; mother, Tommie Sensing of Cunningham; brothers, Lester Sensing of Inman, S.C. and Kenny Sensing of Bon Aqua; sisters, Maxine Baggett of Erin, Mary Ruth Reynolds of Dickson, Jean Elizabeth Tidwell of Cunningham; friend, Shelly Butts; and several nieces and nephews.

He was a farmer. Survivors include wife, Pauline Hill Tidwell of Burns; sons, James and wife Dean Tidwell of Murfreesboro, Buddy and wife Pat Tidwell of Gallatin, Bill Ray Tidwell of Dickson, Farris and wife Caroline Tidwell of Burns, and Randy and wife Bonnie Tidwell of Burns; brothers, Oda Tidwell of Burns, Snow Tidwell of Dickson, Duel Tidwell of Dickson, and J.C. Ralph “Ted” Jackson Waychoff Funeral services for Ralph “Ted” Jackson Waychoff, 87, of Dickson, were held on Friday, Nov. 3, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy Luther officiating. Interment was held at the Brown Family Cemetery. Casket bearers were Billy Womble, Mike Waychoff, Clay Wilson, Clint Wilson, Chris Tatum, and David Selberg.Mr. Waychoff did on Nov. 1, 2006 at his home. He was born in Lippincott, Pa. on May 16, 1919. He was a WWII veteran serving in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific. He retired as a Pennsylvania coal miner in 1964 and later retired as a truck driver for State Industries. He and his wife attended the Craigfield Freewill Baptist Church.Survivors include wife, Edna Broadwater Waychoff of Dickson; sons, Ralph “Ted” and wife Marla Waychoff, Tom and wife Joy Waychoff, all of Dickson, Chris and wife Jenny Waychoff of Vanleer; daughter, Jo Ann and husband Billy Brown of Dickson; sisters, Marie Ross of Michigan, Sara Edgar of Arkansas, Martha Jean Butler of Florida; twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dickson County Help Center or to the American Cancer Society.
Jack E. Waynick Jack E. Waynick, 70, died on Aug. 28, 2006 at his home in Pearce/Sunizona, Ariz. There will be a gathering of family and friends at the Holiday Inn in Dickson on Nov. 18, 2006 and at the Waynick Cemetery on Nov. 19, 2006. Cremation was under the direction of Westlawn Chapl, Mortuary and Crematorium of Willcox, Ariz.Mr, Waynick served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, was a retired ironworker, owned and operated four restaurants and motels, and was a professional woodworker specializing in inlaid woodworking. Jack was also a perpetual member of the Walter R. Bogart Masonic Lodge #882 in Hollywood, Ala.On July 8, 2982, in Sterling Heights, Mich. he married Sylvia Telezinski. in 1990 they moved to Arizona where he continued his passion of inlaid woodworking.Survivors include wife, Sylvia Telezinski of Sunizona, Ariz.; sons, John and wife Susan of St. Charles, Ill., Robert and wife Sheri of Peachtree, Ga.; and Cory of Winston-Salem, N.C.; six grandchildren; sisters, Berta, Maybelle, Lavelle and Patricia.He was preceded in death by his parents, Bertie and Annie Lucille Hayes Waynick.
